What Time It It?

October 2007

Far from being a time a panic and fear this is a time to prepare and seek God's face as to what he would have us do in these times. Trouble is ahead for the world and its inhabitants. Environmental as well as economic troubles followed by the political loom ahead. The turmoil in the Global markets is only just beginning. We have just passed the first wave of a series of economic jolts that will increase in intensity as the months pass. That is why I believe we must be prepared for most eventualities.

What I mean is this, the troubles we see on the earth are many and can be broken down as a titanic struggle going on between world views that will ultimately shape the globe. There are the neo-liberal capitalists who want to see the modern corporation given near supreme power around the globe to exploit and extract the worlds resources for the benefit of the few. The other side of the conflict includes, human rights activists, socialists, conservatives (in the US, constitutionalists), and a conglomeration of other smaller interests all of which are incapable of forming a solid front against the neo-liberalists. Neo-liberalism and their corporations are after wealth and resources. These resources do not only include oil, gas, water and mineral wealth. It also includes human resources. That is, you and me. What I mean to say is this, stripped down to its bare bones everything that has or could have economic value can and will be capitalized. It this world view that rums America, her corporations and her two political parties. It is a system based on money and the ability to create and consume wealth. Ultimately, this is the system the US and its sister nations in the G7 are pushing around the world. It is a system based on raw capitalism stripped of any morality1. When one sees what is happening in places like Burma one can see the seedy underbelly of neo-liberalism. Major oil concerns are involved in Burma.

Altogether, nine foreign oil companies are involved in 16 onshore blocks exploring for oil, enhancing recovery from older fields, or trying to reactivate fields where production has been suspended, according to Total's website.

Offshore, nine companies, including Total, Petronas, PTTEP, South Korea's Daewoo International Corp and Chinese state-run companies China National Offshore Oil Corp, or CNOOC, and China Petroleum & Chemical Corp, or Sinopec, are exploring or developing 29 blocks, Total said.

A block is an area onshore or offshore in which an oil company is granted exploratory and discovery rights.

Despite economic sanctions against Burma by the United States and the EU, Total continues to operate the Yadana gas field, and Chevron Corp has a 28 per cent stake through its takeover of Unocal. Existing investments were exempt from the investment ban.

If you want to know why the US and the west will do nothing in Burma, this is why. If you want to know why the military junta in Burma know they can literally get away with murder, this is why. They know the west is much more interested in fossil fuels than in human rights. So the west, as well as the Burmese Junta are more than willing to let the story of the monk murders slowly slip from the daily headlines so that business can continue unhindered. In reality, the American regime is much more comfortable dealing with brutal military dictators than with democracies. Our history is littered with men who seized power by military coup who were supported, enthusiastically by the US. This support often went far beyond diplomatic relations but often included direct and indirect assistance in repressing, killing, torturing and 'disappearing' democratic forces inside many nations. This has been the pattern for the past 50 years of US policy and it is not going to change for Burma.

Human Rights tend to stand in the way of the pursuit of US economic interests – and they have accordingly been brushed aside systematically. US economic interests in the third world dictates a policy of containing revolution and preserving and open door for US investment. The Washington Connection and Thrid World Fascism. - Chomsky And Herman (Page53)

Here we can see that in the world of the 21st Century there are no 'power players' who are for democratic systems that truly respect the will of the people. The global system from China to America; the EU to Saudi Arabia is fully in the camp of neo-liberal economic theory.

For many of my readers this may a little to 'intellectual' to put in a prophetic update but it is of enormous significance to all of us who dwell between the heavens and the earth. The system of mammon is in the final stages of treading down the earth. Once that is completed new players will take its reigns.

We are in a very important transitional period and things are not as they appear. There are real problems in the global economy that are unresolved and probably are unresolvable without serious shocks to the markets. Shocks that will be more intense and destructive than the subprime debacle thus far, which has claimed over 160 lenders. Many of the worlds major banks have taken multi-billion dollar hits from the credit crisis debacle which was precipitated by the subprime mortgage lending. This is nowhere near over. Now the financial elite are doing what they can to keep the citizens of America minds off of the dollars tailspin which was set off by Bernanke's cut in interest rates. The dollar is in mortal peril. No, this is not what you are hearing financial pundits on TV or even the alternative investment guru's that are prevalent on the net. Many of these men are in this for the money. They make their money selling investment advise. Advice that has its underlying currency primarily denominated in dollars. Nations around the world are dumping dollars or at least mitigating the risk associated with holding large amounts of Uncle Sam's toxic paper.

No one wants a wholesale flight from the dollar and no one wants to be the last man holding the bag of Uncle Sam's green colored radioactive waste, as the long term effects can be devastating. Thus, the key now is to have global leaders negotiate a new international financial regimen not unlike the Bretton Woods agreement.

In short this agreement was a key reason why the US became such an economic power after WWII. From it came the IBRD and the IMF. It was from this agreement that the US dollar became the de-facto reserve currency for the post war world. The world economy needed restructuring and needed it badly. The US was clearly the only superpower and its economy and infrastructure was unscathed by the war.

The US used its economic leverage to the hilt and, as the years passed, it forced the world to fund its profligate spending to the point that most nations now are rethinking the entire system as it is organized around the greenback. This reorganization is coming, it is not going to be put off much longer and there is no way to stop it. With America's national debt nearing 10 trillion dollars it simply is no longer possible nor reasonable for foreigners to continue to fund the behemoth that will one day in the not too distant future be unable to borrow the money it needs to fund basic programs. Indeed there is ample evidence that the rest of the world economy is 'decoupling' from America's.

This is imperative if the rest of the worlds economies are to survive. Asia and to a slightly lesser degree, the Middle East understands this. The Europeans have not yet and are still attempting to fix a system that is already broken. This is why there is and will continue to be conflicting signals as to how to fix this very serious problem.

Prophetically speaking, we are in a important and precarious period of transition. Politically and economically, things are changing. The post war world that placed America at the pinnacle of power is fading fast.

Mr Rato (Managing Director of the IMF) said the credit squeeze was a “serious crisis” that was not over yet and would curtail growth worldwide.

Policymakers should not think that the problems will stay at the desk of the bankers,” he said. “Problems are going to come to the real sector, come to the budgets – that is something we keep telling people.” - FT

Frankly speaking this is the beginning of a reorganization of Global capital markets and with it a shift in wealth, power and ownership of the worlds resources. Mineral rights, water rights, food production and distribution are already largely in the hands of the global corporations and private equity groups. As this continues, people's day to day lives will be under the control of these corporations and the men who control them. Nationality is becoming less important than ones economic status and economic/political affiliations.

As Christians we must not forget that our citizenship is not on this earth. Yes, while we are here we must be subject to the authorities insofar as they do not conflict with God's Commandments as this is our charge by the Holy Apostles. We are to live quiet, holy and humble lives in righteousness and holiness before God. This does not mean that we are not to be appalled and have righteous indignation against evil that is seen in government, nor does it mean we are to be silent when we see evil. Indeed, we are to expose the wicked works of darkness for these works are by and large pure unadulterated evil. Those to support, practice and love these things shall go to a place where there is no remedy forever. It is a place of unspeakable horror and God will send them there and make an eternal point of making them stay in torment.

On the net you can find a hundred sites on the Oil and Banking cartels that effectively control America. But much less can be found on the sprawling control of the medical establishment the hospitals, insurance companies, government agencies pharmaceutical manufacturers who are far more subtle in the way they operate but have life and death say over the lives of a great many people. Many of these companies are direct descendent's of Nazi corporations involved in human experimentation as well. The use of medical evidence is being used in police investigations, while certainly laudable in most applications, it has been abused more often than you will read in your newspapers. So called DNA sweeps have been used as a tool of racial profiling, anonymous callers2 identify a 'suspect' in a crime with the broadest possible physical characteristics and cause police to stop cars by the hundreds, even thousands to obtain DNA samples.. Indeed when one looks at the money involved in American medicine and its research activities one can see some rather hideous examples taking place today. Sure, we can talk about the most famous medical experiment in American history, the Tuskegee study but that is just one example of a long pattern of Nazi like medical experimentation on Black Americans. Nothing has really changed. Young children as well were not exempt from America's satanic system of 'medicine'.

The infringement of black Americans' rights to their own bodies in the name of medical science continued throughout the 20th century. In 1945, Ebb Cade, an African American trucker being treated for injuries received in an accident in Tennessee, was surreptitiously placed without his consent into a radiation experiment sponsored by the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission. Black Floridians were deliberately exposed to swarms of mosquitoes carrying yellow fever and other diseases in experiments conducted by the Army and the CIA in the early 1950s. Throughout the 1950s and '60s, black inmates at Philadelphia's Holmesburg Prison were used as research subjects by a University of Pennsylvania dermatologist testing pharmaceuticals and personal hygiene products; some of these subjects report pain and disfiguration even now. During the 1960s and '70s, black boys were subjected to sometimes paralyzing neurosurgery by a University of Mississippi researcher who believed brain pathology to be the root of the children's supposed hyperactive behavior. In the 1990s, African American youths in New York were injected with Fenfluramine -- half of the deadly, discontinued weight loss drug Fen-Phen -- by Columbia researchers investigating a hypothesis about the genetic origins of violence. - Washington Post

Books have been written on the subject and as well done as they are, only scratch the surface of what America really is. As I have said to my readers many times before, the demonic spiritual stronghold of Nazi Germany shifted to America when the Third Reich fell. All of these evil spirits followed the war criminals our government hired and protected after the war.

It is time for Christians in America to wake up to the whore they have loved and sleep with and separate themelves from her abominations. Why will many people who call themselves Christians we swallowed up into the bowels of hell? Because they countenanced these things and thought it is fine. They were neither outraged nor moved by these abominations. They were in concurrence with Satan and his minions on earth. They said, 'Praise to the Lord' while their hands were bathed in the blood of their brother as their belly swelled in gluttony.

I know I am talking very harshly to each of you. But God's judgment on this nation is going to be sudden, violent and final. It will be horrible and those Christians who cannot and will not follow the commands of Christ and do what he says are none of his, no matter how much they protest otherwise.

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

(Mat 7:22)

Notice that it does not say 'a couple of you', or 'a few of you', rather it says MANY will say these things to Jesus on the great day. What will be Christ's response?

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:

(Mat 7:23-28)

Today people are equally astonished at this doctrine. Real faith brings about real obedience. Yet, this is considered an heretical view in most of America's religious corporations also called 'churches'.

People get upset with me because I am so hard on America's churches. That is, those religious corporations (businesses) that are part of the US government (via its 501[c]3 status). They are teaching people that once you are 'saved' you are always saved and that friendship with the world is fine. But what the Churches are doing is spiritual adultery. It is an extremely grave matter.

Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

(Jas 4:4)

Once again we see what Christ is teaching is contrary to what is happening in the American Church. What they are doing is committing spiritual adultery and have married the world while they were betrothed to Christ. Indeed, the word incorporate, which all 501(c)3 Chruches do means this.

1. To unite (one thing) with something else already in existence: incorporated the letter into her diary.

2. To admit as a member to a corporation or similar organization.

3. To cause to merge or combine together into a united whole.

What a church does when it incorporates with the government is it becomes part of that government. This is how you get the pastors of America to serve, not as minsters of the gospel, but as tools of tyranny for the state. The pastors of America have by and large left God's kingdom and embraced the kingdoms of this world, which are run by the prince of darkness.

Why is this? Simply put, Pastors are not rightly dividing the word of truth. They have taken one scripture and elevated it above the rest of God's revelation. They use a verse in the book or Romans to justify their adulteries.

Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

(Rom 13:1-4)

Paul here is describing how Christians should behave in our age. He is telling Christians essentially to be law abiding citizens. Human laws are not all bad, they punish murderers, thieves, perjurers, rapists etc. Paul is saying that as Christians, we must obey the law. Paul was concerned about this on many fronts. First, Christianity was a new sect and was viewed very suspiciously by the Romans. Let us look at it from a perspective of a Roman authority. You have a new sect of people who behave decidedly different that the rest of Rome, who preach a new kingdom and a new king. What would was a Roman authority to think (I speak secularly now)? The last thing Paul wanted to see was Christians taking the law into their own hands and viewed as a threat to Roman authority. Let us keep in mind that there were no scriptures for Christians to read from and it was not always clear to believers exactly what was meant about a new kingdom and/or how soon it was to arrive. I remember seeing a very good movie called Barabbas with Anthony Quinn. It was one of those popular Biblical epics done decades ago, but this one was quite superior. In it, Barabbas lived along life and as he aged began to accept the teaching of Christ in his own ignorant and very rudimentary fashion. But he assisted in setting fire to Rome in order to bring about the new kingdom. This, in essence, is kind of a parable as to what Paul meant that we should be subjected to the higher powers. Lawlessness could be used against the Church and set off a wave of persecution. Paul wanted Christians to be quiet, humble law abiding citizens. He wanted to give the Roman authorities no excuse to start a new wave of persecution. Indeed in a world of Emperor worship (as in deification) he says, honor the king. We are to strive to live at peace with the state and all men, not turn into a group of violent rebels and malcontents who take up arms at every slight, real or imagined.

In my last PESR, I described how Rome was divided into two camps during the tumultuous years just be before the advent of our Lord and when the Lord came to minister, Rome had already had three major slave revolts. The underclass of Rome were ready for a new doctrine, one that preached liberation from Roman domination. This is one of the reasons that Christianity flourished in Ancient Rome, it offered real hope to Rome's downtrodden. But some wanted to take matters into their own hands and not understanding the spiritual nature of Christ's kingdom they did not want to submit to Roman authority. Paul saw this as being dangerous on two fronts. First, Christians were already under enough scrutiny and did not need another reason for Roman authorities to persecute them, second, Paul probably did not want Christianity be be an anti-Roman cult and begin to harbor men who were not interested in Christ's kingdom but in building their own.

What those who misread the verse in Romans miss is this, earthly authority is not always good3. It often makes laws that are contrary to God's laws. But those who misread this verse try to make Paul say something that he did not mean; that every thing the Government does is good and therefore we must blindly follow every edict and law of the state. This is false and in reality makes the kingdoms of this world good. Peter as well sums up how Christians are to behave.

Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king. Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward. For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.

(1Pe 2:17-20)

Here we see that it is possible to be chastised wrongly by those whom God clearly says are in authority. We are to suffer it. The reality is this, we should never cooperate with evil; suffer it yes, but not cooperate and aid it. Christians, most especially pastors are to be ministers of the gospel and not become government agents, snoops and informants. Any pastor who exchanges his commission before God as his minister in this manner has sinned a most terrible sin and has forsaken Christ. You cannot serve God and mammon. You cannot serve Christ and the kingdoms of this world, especially in a fashion that aids those who are charged with upholding the law in order to break that very same law. The best choice is for Christians to make up their minds to obey Christ and submit to those in authority, but not to aid them in their evil work. If commanded to, hand over your gun, however odious it may seem... just hand it over, but if they require you to go out and help them to take guns from others, do not assist them. This is probably the wisest course. For pastors, their main job is to feed God's flock not turn into government stooges, informants and errand boys for a government that is as corrupt as it is bloody. Decide now where you will place your loyalty; in the kingdom of God of the Kingdom of Satan. There is no third choice. For those of you who have the 'lock and load' mentality remember this verse

He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

(Rev 13:10)

This verse is placed in an important place in revelation, between the description of the two notable beasts of the end times. The world will be in a very great transition and I suspect that these are the times of great tumults, revolutions, violent demonstrations, as Christ warned in the gospels. The temptation will be for us to protect our rights against a system that will be clearly malevolent. But those that take up arms will not be doing God' will no matter how evil the systems of this world becomes. These prophetic beasts must make their appearance on the global stage before Christ can return. We, as much as we may want to stop it, must not use any violent means to resist it. God will give us wisdom.

(Mat 5:39) But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

(Luk 21:15) For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

(Jas 5:6) Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you.

We are to be as wise as serpents but as harmless as doves. This is going to require some very tough choices on the part of many They are going to have to make an important decision. Namely this, what is more important; protecting their 'rights' here on earth using violence or entry into the kingdom of God?

Remember Christ's reaction when he was taken by the wicked priests.

When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword? And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear. And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him. Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves? When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.

(Luk 22:49-53)

Some wanted to fight and do violence, but Christ knew that the things appointed must come to pass. For him it was the cross, for us it is to live in the times of these wicked 'beast' systems.

The world is going to undergo some very real and most unwelcome changes, at least from an American perspective. These changes mean a significantly lower lifestyle, a loss of prestige and almost certainly a loss of our form of government, which by and large was finally killed under the Bush administration. It means that we as Christians must decide where our loyalties lie. When I talk to Christians and read newsgroups and so-called Christian sites, I see clearly that most of these individuals who use and run these sites are still in the world. That is, they do not know that if they have been truly saved (not likely, in the biblical sense) out of this world and born into an entirely new kingdom, that they are just sojourners, vagabonds, nomad's in those present age.

For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding. (1Ch 29:15)

These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. (Heb 11:13)

Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation. Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king. Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.

(1Pe 2:11-18)

In short Governments are there to to punish evildoers. We are to submit ourselves to the laws of man and God and when the two conflict, God's law comes first. Our conversation is to be holy, humble, charitable and true. The last thing Christ wants of us is to be a group of heavily armed rebels in conflict with the state, cocking a shotgun and aiming it at a policeman or government agent. This is wrong and those who talk about doing such things do not do Christianity, Christ or the Church any good. When the state becomes evil, we do have responsibilities to resist it, like so many Germans did during the Nazi regime. They aided Jews and helped some escape certain death even though this was against the law. They spoke out against its organized wickedness and pagan and occult underpinnings to the people of God. Let us never let Paul's admonitions give us an excuse for moral cowardice, that was not Paul's intent.

Finally, I want to say that in the times I see coming things are going to change significantly and indeed already are for many Americans. But for those who keep the commandments of God and do his will, obey his voice and do not give into temptation, there will be enormous blessings in the days ahead, both spiritual and material. This is going to be a time of transition, a difficult one for those who have and continue to rebel against God. But in God's greatness, I see blessings ahead for those who seek God's face and have shown that they can be obedient and can be trusted with those blessings. So I see much trouble ahead for our nation, but I also see great things ahead for the good citizens of the Kingdom of God, very great things. I see many of the miracles of the 1st century Christians upon us, I see people who were once nobodies becoming prominent and wealthy, I see the arrogant snobs brought down to the level of those whom they were too arrogant to even speak to. There will be a horible recompense from God on those who did great evil from their positions of power. Men will gasp in horror when they hear of the punishment that shall descend on the wicked men of our times.

Finally dear brethren, Never forget in all tribulations, troubles and trials that God is still on the throne.

In Christ,

Mark
